Veggie ala Jalapeno Pizza

Pizza Dough

1 pkg 8oz non-fat cream cheese

4 tbsp The Ginger People Jalapeno Sauce

¾  cup each chopped fresh broccoli, carrots, yellow/orange/red bell peppers, green onions, sliced olives

Fresh Parmesan cheese

Instructions: Press dough onto bottom of 13” x 9” baking pan coated with baking spray. Bake at 400 for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely. In medium bowl blend together cream cheese and Ginger People Jalapeno Sauce. Spread over crust. Sprinkle with vegetables. Cover and refrigerate at least one hour before serving. Lightly sprinkle freshly grated Parmesan cheese over top. Cut into appetizer size pieces and serve.

Fool Proof Pizza Dough

1 pkg dry active yeast (2 ¼ tsp)

1 tsp sugar

1 cup very warm water

1 tsp salt

2 tbsp olive oil

2 ½ cups of all-purpose flour

1 cup The Ginger People Crystallized Ginger Baking Chips

Instructions: Place the yeast, sugar and warm water in a mixing bowl and mix a little to blend. Let sit 5 minutes until completely blended. Add the salt and oil and mix with a spoon until oil is even distributed throughout. Add Ginger People Crystallized Ginger Baking Chips. Add the flour and blend just until flour is moistened and turn out onto the counter. Knead dough until the dough is smooth and springy. Place in a greased bowl turning the dough all around in the grease.  Cover bowl with a slightly damp kitchen towel. If it is a chilly day the dough will not rise like normal.  Place a cup of boiled water under the towel next to the bowl to help with heating the yeast to activate it. Let rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size. The dough is ready when you touch it with your finger and an indentation remains.
