Candied
Ginger (Syruped) has a similar flavor profile to crystallized ginger
but has
not gone through
the crystallization process. The mouthfeel is smooth on the tongue
and sticky to the touch. Candied ginger does not loose piece identity
when cooked.
Ginger Syrup is ginger-infused liquid cane sugar.

Shelf
Life:

Ginger (Syruped) and Ginger Syrup are shelf stable and have a two
year
shelf life, even after opening.
Suggested
Usages:
Select
slices and dice chunks are for chocolate enrobing. Smaller dices
and candied ginger
pulp can be used in all baking and savory applications. Try
in carrot cakes, cookies, pies,
chutneys, jams, ice creams, dressings and marinades. Ginger Syrup
can be used as a
topping on pancakes, ice cream or to flavor beverages.
