Ginger Snapped Meatballs with Sweet Ginger Chili and Brown Sugar Sauce


1 egg

1/2 cup finely crushed Ginger Snaps

1 teaspoon salt

3/4 pound ground beef

3/4 pound ground turkey

1 cup The Ginger People® Sweet Ginger Chili Sauce

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1/2 teaspoon The Ginger People Minced Ginger

Instructions: Preheat oven to 350F. In a large bowl, combine egg, crushed cookies, and salt. Crumble beef and turkey over mixture and mix well. Shape into 1-inch balls. Place 1 inch apart on an ungreased baking pan. Bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes or until no longer pink; drain. In a large skillet, combine Sweet Ginger Chili Sauce, brown sugar, mustard and ginger. Add meatballs. Simmer, uncovered, for 10-15 minutes or until heated through, gently stirring several times.
