Favorite moment with a fellow chef: Dinner with Julia Child, 1992. Actually, she was at the next table. We told the waiter, "We'll have what she's having."

Golden Glow Easter Eggs

Naturally dyed with our Turmeric Juice 🌿🥚✨ – an easy, vibrant and fun way to celebrate the season.

ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup The Ginger People Turmeric Juice
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • Hard-boiled eggs (white shells work best)
  • Gloves (recommended to prevent stained hands)

directions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water, Turmeric Juice and vinegar. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  2. Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
  3. Gloves on! Carefully place hard-boiled eggs in the dye bath and let them soak for at least 30 minutes (or longer for a deeper golden hue).
  4. For extra creativity, use a white crayon before dyeing to create patterns, or rub eggs with a little oil after drying for a glossy finish!

recipe tips
